Building a strong marriage is tough. It takes devotion, love, dedication, and focus. Unfortunately, we live in a “throw-away” culture where we tend to set aside the things, or people, that don’t satisfy our needs any longer. From cell phones and cars, to friends and spouses, we look for a new and updated version, or a new thrill or excitement. Sadly, the divorce rate is still around 40% in America today. For one, studies show that young couples are entering marriage for the wrong reasons, without knowing their partner, and without a lifetime commitment. They are raised with the idea that if it doesn’t work out, they can quit and try again. That is not God’s plan. He designed marriage for one man and one woman to have a marriage covenant for life. The increase of broken families and the lasting effects of divorce on children are crushing.
So what can we do about it? Warriors for God provides resources to intervene and prevent broken families. We ALL have brokenness in one way or another and we come into relationships with that hurt and pain. Through faith, we can overcome the hurt and find happiness in our loved ones. We can fall in love with our spouse again and live a life, together, for God.
If you are struggling in your marriage, please take the time to view the resources on this page. Find an option that can help you find happiness again and prevent another broken family.
